Before you start
Download an authenticator app before you begin. Any TOTP-compatible app works:- Google Authenticator (iOS / Android)
- Microsoft Authenticator (iOS / Android)
- Authy (iOS / Android / Desktop)
Logging in for the first time
Go to app.coordhub.au
Open app.coordhub.au in your browser. Enter your email address and password.
Open the MFA enrolment screen
After entering your password, CoordHub automatically takes you to the MFA setup page. You’ll see a QR code on screen.
Scan the QR code
Open your authenticator app and tap the + or Add account button. Choose Scan QR code and point your camera at the code on screen. If you can’t scan the code, tap Can’t scan? on the CoordHub page to reveal a manual entry key you can type into your app instead.
Enter the 6-digit code
Your authenticator app will display a 6-digit code. Enter it into the CoordHub verification field and click Verify. The code refreshes every 30 seconds — if it’s about to expire, wait for the next one.
Logging in after MFA is set up
Every subsequent login asks for your email, password, and then your current 6-digit MFA code. What happens next
After your first successful MFA login, you land on your dashboard. MFA is now active — you won’t be asked to set it up again.Common questions
Common questions
What if I lose access to my authenticator app?
Use one of the backup codes you saved when you set up MFA. On the MFA screen at login, click Use a backup code and enter one of your single-use codes. If you’ve used all your backup codes and lost your authenticator app, contact your administrator — they can reset your MFA from Settings → Team → ⋮ → Reset MFA.Can I use SMS instead of an authenticator app?
No — CoordHub requires a TOTP authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or similar). SMS-based MFA is not supported because SMS codes can be intercepted. An authenticator app is significantly more secure and works even when you have no mobile signal. Can I set up MFA on multiple devices?
Yes — scan the QR code with multiple devices during setup. Each device will generate valid TOTP codes. If you later need to add a device after the initial setup, contact your administrator to trigger a fresh MFA setup for your account. What are the backup codes for?
Backup codes are emergency one-time-use codes that let you log in if your phone is unavailable (lost, stolen, dead battery). Each code can only be used once. Store them somewhere secure — a password manager is ideal. If you’ve used all your backup codes, log in with a regular MFA code and regenerate them from your Profile → Security settings.
