NDIS support categories

CoordHub aligns to the NDIS support catalogue. When you log a billable activity, you select a support item — CoordHub uses this to determine which budget category the charge draws from and what ClaimType to apply when you export to PRODA. The most common support items for Support Coordinators are:
Support ItemCodeRegistration GroupCategory
Support Coordination07_002_0106_80106Support Coordination (07)
Specialist Support Coordination07_004_0132_80132Support Coordination (07)
Psychosocial Recovery Coaching07_006_0128_80128Support Coordination (07)
Your organisation’s administrator configures which support items are available to select in the activity form under Settings → Activities.

Billable vs. non-billable

Billable activities draw from the participant’s NDIS plan budget. When approved, they become available for invoicing and PRODA claims. To log a billable activity:
  • The participant must have an active NDIS plan
  • The plan must have a budget for the support category matching the support item
  • Your organisation must be registered for the registration group that covers the support item
The NDIS Price Guide sets maximum hourly rates for each support item. CoordHub applies your organisation’s configured rates, which must be at or below the Price Guide maximums.

Cancellation types

If you need to cancel an activity, CoordHub captures the NDIS cancellation reason so the correct claim type is applied to the PRODA export:
ReasonNDIS claim typeWhen it applies
Cancelled with adequate notice (>2 business days)No claimParticipant or provider cancels with sufficient notice
Short notice cancellation (within 2 clear business days)CancellationWithin2DaysParticipant cancels within 2 business days of the scheduled session
No show — participantCancellationNoShowParticipant does not attend without any notice
No show — providerNo claimProvider cancels without notice — provider absorbs the cost
NDIS cancellation rules and claim types are set by the NDIS Price Guide, which is updated annually (usually in July). CoordHub derives the correct claim type automatically based on the cancellation reason you select and the notice period. Check the current Price Guide for the exact definition of “clear business days” if you’re uncertain.
