You can log activities from the calendar view directly — click on a date block to open the activity form with the date pre-filled.

Creating an activity from the calendar

1

Go to Calendar

Click Calendar in the sidebar.
2

Click on a date

In week or month view, click on the date (or time slot in week view) when the activity occurred. The activity form opens with that date pre-filled.
3

Complete the activity form

Fill in the participant, support item, duration, and case note as you normally would. See Logging an activity for the full guide.
4

Save or submit

Save as draft or submit for approval.

Calendar vs. Activities list

Both the calendar and the Activities list create the same activity records — it’s purely a matter of which view you prefer to work from. Some coordinators find the calendar helpful when reconstructing a busy day’s work after the fact.
In week view, you can drag activity blocks to move them to a different time or day — useful if you logged an activity on the wrong date. Dragging updates the activity’s date immediately.
